Memories in the Dark

Serenity is fleeting, thoughts jumbled inside my head. Moonlight flirts with my eyes, casting murky silhouettes of you in my darkened room. The willow becomes my adversary, weeping when my eyes are dry, no longer able to shed another tear. My heart is dying, beats ceasing to echo in the silence, memories of your heart beating in harmony with mine flood my head. A Little Help...?

Okay guys so I really need some help! My best friend Justin, recently got a guitar with his graduation money and asked me to write him a song. I write poetry, but I've never written a song. He asked specifically for one song, but would love more than one. My problem... I don't have any idea what to write about... I have a couple ideas, but I got stuck after a couple lines. Okay I know a lot of people dislike Miley Cyrus, but she's going to be my example today mainly because I have perfect examples of her from an article I read today.
