Trust me one more time...
You walk along the streets at night
At night is when you think about
Think about what you could have done
Have done differently to save me
It's gonna be alright
This will turn out fine
You're just gonna have
To trust me on this one
Tonight starts out the same as most
As most you're walking around alone
Around alone as you always do
Always do thinking and wondering
It's gonna be alright
This will turn out fine
You're just gonna have
To trust me on this one
After just a short while you hear
You hear sirens a few streets over
Streets over near my house
My house is where they are you fear
It's gonna be alright
This will turn

She was the type of girl who was full of happiness and smiles, the type of girl who laughed whenever she could and deamt whether or not she was sleeping. She was older than five, and she still thought that clouds were made of cotton candy and that sunshine tasted like lemonade, and she believed that everyone deserved to be happy, regardless of who they were, or what they'd done.
Which is how she met him.
He's the boy that lives in the dark corners of a padded room linked up to IV's, because he's afraid to be anywhere near the light, and he doesn't see the point in eating, or drinking. He spends his days in fear that the monsters in his head
Rot
"What do you think of when you hear the word rot? Do you see something decaying or molding in your mind? Does some past memory of something related to that spring up before your eyes?
"The first thing I think of is rotting bark. I see that for a split second...and then a different image appears in my mind. Yes, an entirely different image pops up. What do you suppose it is?
"When you look around, how many people do you see that have had their lives ruined, whether by drugs, relationships, or family problems--maybe some mental problems? I look at these people, many of those who smoke, drink, and use so many other drugs, and I t
"Tell me a story."
I never thought I'd see you again, especially not tapping on my window. I'd seen you there so many times before, with tears running down your face just as you were now. I thought that if we ever saw each other again, it would be on the streets, just another person to bump into and throw a barely thought of, "I'm sorry," over my shoulder to. Maybe a glint of recognition passed, but, if I were lucky, nothing more than that.
Looking at you now, though, there's really nothing left to recognize.
I slid my window open and bit my lip against the cold. At least on the streets, there was a way for me to go, and a current of peopl
Long ago,
We met under rosy apple trees,
And we laid around everyday,
Under the lazy sun and moon,
And we chained daisies and licked snowflakes.
You were friends back before friends were the easy way out. You were lovers before the term 'cooties' lost it's meaning. You grew up together, and you were supposed to get married. Have kids-- with your brown hair, and his hazel eyes.
You were, you were, you were.
What happened?
Long ago,
We grew up like everyone else,
And we weren't supposed to,
But I think we hit our heads one night,
Because it was like we forgot all about the "good times".
You were the typical Bonnie-and-Clyde complex
Hey
You
Why are you
You, of all people
Walking away?
Don't leave me!
Turn around
And face me!
I know that
Every step
That you take
Is taking you
Away from me
You're forgetting me
Aren't you?
I'm fading to gray
With each step that you take
I'm melting away
You were my life
Mine, no one else's
My very reason to
Go on living in this world full of sorrows
And now you are leaving
Just telling me to
'Hold on'
Well, what if I can't?
I've never been the strongest, you know.
All these words want to spill out
But all I can say
Are a few words
Simple, but powerful
And I just have to hope that you'll listen.
"Please d
Serenity is fleeting,
thoughts jumbled inside my head.
Moonlight flirts with my eyes,
casting murky silhouettes of you
in my darkened room.
The willow becomes my adversary,
weeping when my eyes are dry,
no longer able to shed another tear.
My heart is dying,
beats ceasing to echo in the silence,
memories of your heart beating in
harmony with mine flood my head.
I see your fingers dance across my flesh,
twisting and turning to their own rhythm.
All disappear in a fog of pain and despair
when I realize that in losing you
I've lost my whole world.
Okay guys so I really need some help!
My best friend Justin, recently got a guitar with his graduation money and asked me to write him a song. I write poetry, but I've never written a song. He asked specifically for one song, but would love more than one.
My problem... I don't have any idea what to write about... I have a couple ideas, but I got stuck after a couple lines.
So if any of you have any ideas that would be a good song I'd really appreciate some input. Of course you'll be the first to see the song after Justin, but I just need some help.
Thanks bunches!
Peace *<

Okay I know a lot of people dislike Miley Cyrus, but she's going to be my example today mainly because I have perfect examples of her from an article I read today.
I was sitting here getting on myspace when there was a link that went to A look back at Miley's Scandalous year. It got me thinking... and here's my thoughts.
Everyone watches and criticizes every little thing famous people do. "They're supposed to be role models." Okay last time I checked nobody is perfect. I mean seriously, have you ever met someone who's perfect? I know I haven't. It's all part of life and learning from your mistakes.
The stars get it worse though. Every litt
Got this from a deviant I watch. Thought it was a great idea so I'm giving it a shot myself. So knock yourself out! It's winter, and I don't have to much time to take pictures so it might take a little while to get it up there, but I'll get them up as soon as possible. Depending on the theme it may be a drawing or it may be a photo. We'll see!
rules:
-The first 10 people to comment this journal asking for a My A.R.T will win a photo by me
